I'm not seeing this. Also, line 898 in that version of sql.php is a 
variable declaration which wouldn't throw that error.  It's likely 
that your version of that file is broken.  Can you try getting a fresh 
version of that file and trying again?

This seems to be bogus, sorry about that. After further examination it 
seems this bug was caused by a bad integration of newer upstream 
version over locally modified older version of the /Horde/Share/sql.php

I was trying to use the FRAMEWORK_3 version of horde, but there seems 
to be some errors in Horde/Share/sql.php v 1.1.2.56:

Class declarations may not be nested in /Horde/Share/sql.php on line 898



Everything seems to be fine with version 1.1.2.54
