Have you tried this with the mobile view in IMP-git? I don't think
we're going to see work on this in MIMP 1.x regardless.
No, I'm not very easy with cvs or git. I should spend some time on it.

So, we'll wait for next release..

Thks

Dom

MIMP only supports exact match expansion. Are you doing an exact search?
So, if I follow your statement and I search in the cn or mail,

I should write

Dominique LALOT

or

my complete email (which is not very usefull indeed..)

Using keyboard in such devices is painfull, I don't understand the
reason of the exact search

If I try my name, I get a page like this (what I typed befored disapeared)

Message Composition | Menu

WARN: Please resolve ambiguous or invalid addresses.

To: (blank)

and my search seems to be OK:

Jan 22 08:30:31 HORDE [debug] [turba] LDAP query by
Turba_Driver_ldap::_search(): user = lalot, root =
ou=people,dc=univ,dc=fr (annuaire.univ.fr anu.univ.fr); filter =
"(&(&(mail=*)(|(objectclass=univmedperson)(objectclass=univmedpersdivers)))(|(|(cn=lalot*)(cn=* lalot*))))"; attributes = "dn, uid, sn, cn, givenname, mail, telephonenumber"; deref = "0"  ; sizelimit = 20 [pid 22004 on line 186 of
"/var/www/perso/horde-webmail-1.2.1/turba/lib/Driver/ldap.php"]

It does not look like an exact search, does'nt it?

Looks like a display problem (no I check the html source returned)?
That's the only problem I noticed on mimp

Hello,

That's me again.. I'm trying to get mimp working. I'm stuck whith an
address book problem. If I click on expand names, I get no answer from
turba.

Checking /tmp/horde.log, I can see that the sources are called

filter =
"(&(&(mail=*)(|(objectclass=univmedperson)(objectclass=univmedpersdivers)))(|(|(cn=lalot*)(cn=*
lalot*))))

checking the filter manually show me that it's OK

But nothing appears in the browser except "WARN: Please resolve
ambiguous or invalid addresses."

I see nothing in prefs.php. Looks strange as it should be my setup but
I don't understand why (turba is OK and autocompletion works in dimp
or imp)

Just as a remark, I'm using firefox configured whith a user-agent
browser string:

"PPC; 240x320; HTC_P3450/1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12)

about:config

then add general.useragent.override

In imp, I can't also expand when I'm saying: I'm a mobile. Seems that
Javascript is disabled. Trying either to reach dimp leads to a blank
page saying "loading".

Comming back to normal browser user-agent did not solve the address
book problem in mimp, but imp or dimp is OK
