someone else can reproduce this, I'm going to mark this as closed.
Thanks for the report.

maintenance. My setting are
- run the tasks when I login
- confirm that I want to run the tasks.
For my mail maintenance settings see the attached image.
There are no entries in horde.log; I'm using IMP for authentication.
It was possible for me to get into the calendar when I switch off the
maintenance setting. After entering the calendar in this way and after
trying it about 20 times with maintenance switched on it works now!?
So it is fine for me now and I'm not sure if it makes sense to
investigate this problem further.

are the pertinent settings? (How often do you run the task) Do you
also have maintenance tasks enabled in IMP - if so, which, how often,
etc.... Are you authenticating via IMP?
Also, please check your log files for any interesting entries.

the system asks me if I want to process the maintenance tasks (delete
all old calendar entries). After clicking on yes (and also when
clicking on no) I end up in imp (email-inbox)!
This phenomena is new on the 1st January 2009. It was not the case at
former month-changes.
