I have. Newer versions of the vacation program definitely do use it.
An increasing number of applications are filtering on these headers,
for example Exim:

What about RFC 3834? http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3834

Section 5 of that RFC talks about the Auto-Submitted header, which is
what you actually would like to add to every mail that Horde sends
automatically. Please add it to Horde, it would make a lot of mail
admins a lot happier :-)
Is anybody actually using this header? I have never heard of it or
seen it in the wild before.

Please add a "Precedence: bulk" header to the mail that whups
generates.  Otherwise my vacation program will try to respond to it :-)
