Sorry about this, but it looks like there are several things broken. I
guess I should let you work on it. When a new version comes out I will
try to test again. But I will leave the development to you.

Thank you for your patience and all your hard work on this.

Syncing with tasks

Again I can do a full sync one time. Trying again I get a server
error. I can sync new item in outlook to horde, but I cannot update
changes. Hebrew still seems to, on occaission push funny characters to
horde.

Testing Syncing against mnemo. I can do a sync one time. If I attempt
it again. the contents of the notes in horde become empty, even though
they still exist in the database.

Sorry about how long this is taking to get back to you. I still
haven't found the time to get to this. I will try within the next few
days

I don't have any means to track this down. So, if this is still
happening, even with the latest RCs, you have to track this down
yourself.

Oops... Forgot to mention that I've installed the Final Release 3.2

Thank you for your work on this.

OK... Almost everything is working as it should.

One last problem. Again it sits with tasks...

When syncing from outlook to horde, The title of task starts with the
question mark character.

An UNRELATED problem... I hope. When I delete an item from a source
(either horde or outlook), the item is not deleted in the destination
when doing a full sync.

I'm probably not understanding something. The tasks item can only be
configured to connect using sifs. And according to the directions I
found somewhere, I had to configure the remote connection to connec to
the "tasks" resource. The calendar section can be configured with
vcalendar. Not icalendar.

Sorry, I confused calendar with tasks. But did you actually try the
fixed iCalendar code?

Like I said. It seems to be OK in Calendar. But, there still seems to
be the equal sign problem with notes and tasks.

Great! Then it should be fixed in the calendar too. Let us know if it
doesn't once you updated to the latest iCalendar code or the next
Horde version.

I didn't see the question mark characters either.

I don't see the question marks in the notes (which are a result from a
broken charset conversion) with Funambol 6.0.19 on Windows Mobile 2003.

The equal signs have been fixed in the iCalendar package. I didn't
check calendar yet.

Hi I downloaded and checked out RC4. The garbage characters seem to be
fixed with the calendar. But I still see them with notes and tasks.

Works fine with non-ascii characters for me. You should test the next
RCs once they are out and report back if the problem persists. A lot
of SyncML improvements have been added since then.

1) Horde Mysql database character encoding utf8

2) Outllook 2003

3) funabmol 6.5.8

As the summary states when Syncing Hebrew, and in either direction, I
get a lot of garbage characters. They are either extra "=" (equal
signs) or ? (question marks inside a diamond).
