This can be done in the advanced search page. I know, but there I must set a search criteria and a mailbox (every time). I would like simply enter a word and search on my full indexed imap server ;-) We don't ship/package Gmail. This is a terrible idea for most installations. This sounds like something you should implement locally instead.

Make it possible to search every time (by default) in all mailbox folder with the "Search (Entire Message)". It is not a performance issue since we index anyway all message with docevot solr.
