Check that your Mailer settings (on the 'Mailer' tab of Horde's configuration screen) are correct for your setup. Yeah, that did the trick. Seems Mailer config is not necessary for a working imp. But ActiveSync needs it. The wrong path for sendmail was configured.

Horde_ActiveSync 2.0.13 Sony Xperia S (Android 4.0.4) syncing my device mit horde works fine for contacts, calendar and mail. But I can not send any mail. Following is logged into my horde access_log when trying to send a mail: "POST /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?Cmd=SendMail&SaveInSent=T&User=thomas&DeviceId=androidc681032656&DeviceType=Android HTTP/1.1" 400 - Error code 400 is given back
