Updates: I contacted cyrrus technical support, they said me to compare the message source from horde3 and horde4, they are exactly the same. Another thing I noticed: If using horde4 and forward the message with the broken image to horde3 the image appears. Exactly. So this confirms that Cyrus is broken.

And no errois appear in horde3 logs when accessing the message.

Updates: I contacted cyrrus technical support, they said me to compare the message source from horde3 and horde4, they are exactly the same. Irrelevant. There are different ways of grabbing body data from an IMAP server. Horde 4 is most certainly using a different method than Horde 3. It just means that the issue was not triggered when using Horde 3 - not that it doesn't exist. Your IMAP server is telling us that the body part with that given ID doesn't exist. There's nothing we can do if the IMAP server refuses to provide us that data. And it's not a Horde/IMP error since it works fine for me with that message (meaning that Horde/IMP is requesting the proper body part).

This is an error message from your IMAP server, which is telling IMP that it can't parse that particular part. But I forwarded it to my yahoo mail and to my old horde installation that is in the same server (imp h3 4.3.5) and it worked. It is a fresh horde 4/ imp 5 installation. When I open this email I can see this in horde logs: "ERR: HORDE [imp] IMAP error reported by server. Invalid body section [pid 1857 on line 345 of "/var/www/horde4/imp/lib/Imap.php"]". I did some search and it seems that imp5 is corrupting the body section of the message and then cyrrus send that error message to the mail client. I don't know if you will be able to reproduce the bug with the attachment because it doesn't always happen, I already received other emails with images inline with no problems. Maybe I could forward the message to a horde email, then you could see better what happens.
