Sounds like Chrome is broken on some systems. Don't think there is really anything we can do about that. (Just like Chrome is broken when it comes to certain CSS rendering tests)

the screenshot is from Chrome 13 on WinXP, but this happens also on Chrome14 on Win7 Same here using chrome14 on win7

I don't get that print preview screen. Is this on Windows? Or some setting in Chrome?

the picture opens in a new window and then gets closed like you mentioned. and then i got the print preview, attached screenshot

Cannot reproduce. It looks a bit weird because the window is closed before even confirming the print dialog, but the picture is printed fine.

when i have mails with picture attachements and press the print in the attachment list the chrome printing preview is opened and there it says the window has closed an picture can't be printed
