This is confusing. Do you use composite auth or IMP auth?

I use IMP to authenticate and I'm trying to set prefs with the example prefs_init functions for 'add_source' and 'search_sources'. It seems, as if they are never called. Putting an Horde::debug($pref) on the top of the function will never be executed.
