The only time I can reproduce this is if the client that I choose was set to not require descriptions.. i.e., Hermes->Admin->Edit Client->Should users enter descriptions... Is this selected for you?

If creating a time entry through the stop watch, the description that I enter is lost and overwritten by the default "See attached timesheet" entry. I can't change this description later either.
