Yeah, you can create lists (contact groups) in Turba, and while I'm
not positive you can currently retrieve them through the API, that's
the Horde-ish way to do this - the prefs solution can be local to
Kolab, but I can't see adding it to the mainline.

Yes, they are related to address books. It would probably be nicer to
integrate this type of functionality with turba. But I don't know if
there is an easy way to get groups of addresses defined in turba and
use them in the freebusy view then.

I don't understand what the purpose of this patch is, I guess. It
doesn't look like the lists of attendees are specific to the event, so
what are they? In place of an address book?

This patch transfers functionality from the Kolab "fbview" package
(which is an older kronolith fork) to current kronolith cvs.

The patch provides functionality to save and load lists of attendees
within the "attendees.php" handler. The lists are saved in the
preference system provided by horde.

I have to admit that I do not feel absolutely comfortable with this
patch since saving the lists in the preference system seems somewhat
awkward. On the other hand this allows to use the system without
making a db necessary.

If you think this the functionality might be useful but needs some
improvements please suggest what might be changed.

If it does not fit into the horde structure then this can as well
remain a kolab specific patch :)
