I have a similar (same) problem after upgrading to Webmail Groupware 1.2.7. clicking on New Message in the Menu bar doesn't create a popup window, clicking on New Message in the sidebar panel creates a popup window. popup_imp is called with "popup_imp('/horde/imp/compose.php', 700, 650,'mailbox=INBOX') if using the top menu and with "popup_imp('/horde/imp/compose.php', 700, 650,'') using the side panel. Using the top menu the java script error is: $H is not defined in /horde/imp/js/popup.js. Strange popup.js has not changed between 1.2.6 and 1.2.7.
