<description>If one address fails to be expanded in a compose window field, no addresses are exanded and webmail does not report which addresses have failed to be expanded. It is far more intuitive for webmail to expand all addresses that it can, and then report &quot; The following addresses could not be expanded: ...&quot; or &quot;Invalid To: field, unable to expand&quot; in no addresses can be expanded.

   <description>This probably broken this behavior:

http://cvs.horde.org/diff.php/imp/compose.php?r1=2.768&amp;r2=2.769&amp;ty=h

but it fixed other problems in the old code. So a reversion is not possible.

BTW, I saw this bug yesterday too but haven&#039;t had a chance to debug it yet. Here&#039;s how to reproduce:

1. insert a string of two names, one that is not in your addressbook and one that is ambiguous. Click Expand.

2. select one of the ambiguous options and click expand

3. on this page, there will be the unknown expand string on one To line and the expanded e-mail address on the second To line. Click expand again.

4. All To addresses have now disappeared (ooohhh... magic!)</description>
