When I am modifying a contact and I enter an incorrect value

When I am modifying a contact and I enter an incorrect value (e.g. wrong formated email or telephone number) then after submitting the form it is displayed again with highlighted incorrectly filled field labels. Till now it's all right. The problem is that all the modified values in every field (not only in those incorrect) are preset to their original values (values before the modification). That's ugly. I think, that all the values should be preserved, including those incorrect. Imagine that if I modify 5 fields with some new actual information and I make a mistake with entering not well-formed email, then after submitting the form all those updates in 5 fields will be lost!

PS: Adding a contact behaves correctly.
