The tags themselves will show, but the images from galleries

The tags themselves will show, but the images from galleries that the user cannot access will not show when clicking through the tag name. This was a design decision made since in order to remove the tag from the block, we would have to iterate over *every* image tagged with that tag and check the image's gallery permissions. This would be a very large performance hit.

Are you saying that you *are* seeing the images themselves? If so, how did you set permissions to dissallow access to the galleries?

the problem seem to be with the admin user, we set the gallery to allow only two person to have rights to see, edit, delete and modify a user create gallery. tag block shows now all tags for every user like you emntioned, clicking with a normal user results in a error that he is not allowed to see the picture, but when try with the admin user he is able to see the picture then. but the admin user doesn't see the galleries, is not able to search, but when clicking on a tag he gets access to the picture

> but when this is the expected, why doesn't see the admin the galleries?

Admins don't receive the list of *all* user galleries when listing them since that could potentially be hundreds or thousands of users depending on the installation. An admin can explicitly navigate to a specific gallery for purposes of maintaining the installation/dealing with inappropriate content etc.. and this ticket is really a side effect of this.
