But I think it's really usefull, there isn't another way to guess how many unread messages you have on the INBOX (most important Folder since all non filtered messages are kept here). Developing systray agents without this kind of functions is nearly impossible. The method name is pretty unclear - maybe taking an optional array of mailboxes would be better too? - and we'd ask you to review the Horde coding standards (http://horde.org/horde/docs/?f=CODING_STANDARDS.html) and to consider if you'd be willing to assign copyright to the Horde Project.
