They tried to undo this by changing the default criteria under options -> mail -> Mailbox and Folder Display Options, as they did not know how they changed the sort criteria in the first place. There should be an option to change the sort criteria and direction for a folder, or the list of folders which don't use the defaults and an button to reset the sort criteria and direction to the default. As for this there is no indication that there is a per folder sort pref 2. there is no way (or at least i could not find it) to reset the pref for a folder back to use the default sorting criteria and direction. I would like a way to change the sort criteria and direction for each folder. First select the folder than select the sorting criteria an direction with "default" as one option.
