The settings which task lists to show are not stored anywhere, and task view is disabled whenever I do anything that refreshes the calendar view, like switching to next month's view. The tasks are shown again (for the current calendar view) if I trigger the corresponding "show tasks" button again, even if this should disable the task list! The problem was that the array "display_external_cals" was not yet specified in our prefs.php from kronolith, so the information which task lists were selected was not stored anywhere.
