However, if you attempt to view an SMIME certificate by following the "View" link in an SMIME signed message, it throws a Notice on the web page: Notice: Undefined index: openssl_cafile in /var/www-test/horde/imp/lib/Crypt/SMIME.php on line 280 A simple test in the verify() function could check for an undefined openssl_cafile setting.
