This ranges from slight shifting through to unreadable. Copying/pasting the captcha into a fixed-font text editor helps, but this isn't a real fix. I don't think that changing the html output from <pre> to fixed space (&nbsp) would help. Maybe one could resolve this with a fixed-font css style for the captcha area.
