Hello,

I have downloaded the latest Whups so that we can evaluate it for possible use for us as well as possible use at a customer site.

It seems That no matter what I do in administration setup for Wpuds, I cannot seem to get 'default states' and 'default priorities' list boxes to populate and cannot find further ideas in lists or google that takes me further.

Maybe I am missing something, but I played around with the whups_states and whups_priorities tables in pgsql, and actually got a dropdown list in priorities only, but could never get anything into the 'default states' dropdown.

My install is Centos 5.2, but using latest horde groupware (from horde.org) and then added Whups. I am using standard rpms for this os, except for horde (which are latest)

The driver settings seem to connect to postgresql (custom localhost etc) but to no avail.

I wonder if this is broken,...

You need to make sure that:

1) You have states/priorites etc... configured in config/conf.php. This is done via Administration->Setup->Whups->Default_*

2) You have properly setup the default states/priorities for each ticket type, in each queue. This one is done via:

the "Admin" link within Whups -> Edit Queue -> Edit Types tab -> then select the ticket type to edit in the drop down menu etc....

Thanks Michael,

That seems to be it, and thank you for the prompt reply.

I think I am starting to understand how these are specifically associated.

All those extra entries, which can be many, can give a person a lot of flexibility,...

Given that we can no longer manage our (growing) work load on paper any more, I think I'll go with it, and we also have a customer interested in doing the same.

We really appreciate the help.

Best Regards,....
