When using DIMP with an IMAP server, the delete function always "marks the message as deleted" (as the IMAP protocol permits to). It then appears as grey and striked. This is also the default behavior in IMP.

When selecting the alternate way of deleting messages in IMP, which is actually "move messages to trash instead of marking them as deleted", this behavior doesn't replicate in DIMP, which is confusing. The only way to achieve that is to not use the "delete" buttons/menus, and manually move the messages to the trash in DIMP. Couldn't DIMP read this preference in IMP's options, and behave as expected ?

I am seeing this behavior as well.

Deletion works as expected in IMP, but the preference setting does not carry over to DIMP. DIMP marks the message as deleted, but does not move the message to trash. IMP, however, does.
