Create a gallery view/view style that displays gallery images with mini-size images. Allow setting, though api params, how many to show on one page, or whether to just show all of them. Intended for embedding in blog posts, thus the very small footprint.

Just to get a better feel for what your asking regarding embedding in blog posts:

small 'minithumbs' for the image tiles, with no text displayed under it, or maybe just the caption? Link should go to either the 'normal' image view, or to a api configurable image view page. Should we allow the display of sub-galleries in this view? If we do, where should that link point to? I'm assuming a view like this would be marked as 'hidden' in the ansel style definition (which hides it from the general UI in Ansel)?

> small 'minithumbs' for the image tiles, with no text displayed under

How about making it a parameter of the view, default to no text?

> Link should go to either the 'normal' image view, or to a api configurable image view

> page.

Sounds good.

> Should we allow the display of sub-galleries in this view? If we do, where should that

> link point to?

Sounds like subgalleries should be hidden by default, as the easiest option.

> I'm assuming a view like this would be marked as 'hidden' in the ansel style definition

> (which hides it from the general UI in Ansel)?

Sure, though I don't see the harm in showing it?
