I'm having similar problems even with legitimate users, not just massive spammers, but users abusing the "openness" of the use of sendmail-thru-qmail-local send, what i mean is we could impose those limits on the smtp (which we have) and make IMP send thru smtp, but then we lose the benefit of local sending, and also i think it's better to receive an error message directly from IMP's interface telling the user about the limit of the recipients area. I personally think this feature would be very well received, any toughts about it?
