This should only appended if the device has the smartreply functionality. On my iPhone 5 (7.1.1) if i reply to a message, there is always the citation duplicate, and always on top of the message. My answer is in the middle of the two citation's. Its possible to deactivate the smartreply functionality and/or add this option to the configuration? My answer is in > the middle of the two citation's. This is because most modern clients also include the citation text along with the reply text when sending the smartreply/smartforward. This has already been dealt with by completely removing Horde's citation text, along with the reply_top preference.
