By default it uses its own libraries, but it&#039;s also possible to use a special proxy (moxi) in front of the couchbase backend in order to use emecache applications.
Since it talks the memcache protocol, you could trasparently use a couchbase db instead of the sql database where you needs persistence and speed.</description>
