Sending email using ActiveSync seems to modify the message's content, with the result that signature verification fails and clients flag the message as potentially forged. I've had this happen sending email with Outlook 2013, iOS and Windows Phone 8 devices connecting via ActiveSync (my horde installation is set to version 14.1). Sending mail directly via SMTP works fine, so it's not a misconfigured MTA.
