when someone try to delete a message from a shared folder a popup occurs saing "Error communicating with server" and the next action that is done in imp brings up two another messages saing "Deleting not allowed..." and "Cannot send binary data to server that does not support it." this happens only in the virtual inbox folder, deleting directly in the shared folder only gives the message "Deleting not allowed..."

Is the ACL extension not available on your IMAP server? At least in the shared mailbox instance, deletion will be disabled in the UI if the ACL for the mailbox does not allow it. The Virtual INBOX instance is different however. It sounds like IMP's local fake IMAP mailbox name (which contains a null character) is somehow leaking to the server.

Been looking to track this down for awhile, and finally able to reproduce. Fixed in IMP 5.0.24 and IMP 6.0.1.
