Without a way to reproduce this reliably, I can't really do anything with this ticket. As mentioned before, it works fine here.

I can't repeat it at will. I had been navigating within the folder for some time when I noticed it. But once I noticed it, it happened for every message I deleted.

I use a trash folder and do not see this at all (i.e. deleting a message decrements the total messages in the folder by 1).

I take it you either use a trash folder or hide deleted messages? Please specify which.

Just upgraded all packages to HEAD20041208 and noticed something while reading a lot of old messages in my inbox. Basically, I was reading messages (i.e. in "read mode" as opposed to "mailbox view mode") and doing "Delete" or <Left>/<Right>. When I clicked on the "Delete" link, the message was removed, and then IMP moved onto displaying the next message. Only the message totals displayed at the top of the message wasn't updated. It kept on saying (648 of 750), regardless of how many messages I removed. When I clicked on the "Back to inbox.." link, the correct message totals was displayed.
