Fixed in framework/Horde/Horde/Config.php. Will be in Horde 3.0.1.

Additional thoughts: could this be because this option can be either set to "true" or "false", but the UI is a dropdown menu instead of a checkbox? This seems like a boolean UI element, shouldn't that be a checkbox instead?

Not sure if this is related, but I'm experiencing the same issue here IF I select "No" to "Should we allow the users to send attachments as link", generate the mail configuration, click again on "Setup", and return to the "Compose" page. Then, the "Should we allow the users to send attachments as link" is set to "Select" here. The problem doesn't occur if I set this option to "Yes".

I don't see this either. I'd suggest grepping your install at this point to see where that string might come from. Are you sure you don't have an old file being picked up somewhere?

Oh, by the way. If I select different language --select-- string is translated correctly. So this definetely not comes from browser.

No. I tried with mozilla (as you see in screenshot), firefox and IE. All the same. If you are not seeing this i'm totally lost. What else can I check?

What browser are you using? Maybe the browser inserts a "select" element if there is a drop-down list with no default value selected? This is just a horrible, wild guess.

That makes no sense to me, the drop down list only has "Yes" and "No" options.

link_attachments parameter not retrieved from old conf.php when updating. Select box in config window shows "-- select --".
