archive, and configuring php to compile against it, without having to
compile or install c-client in the traditional sense. I finally found
this solution yesterday at groups.google.com which had an archived
post to mailing.www.horde-imp dated back to June of this year. Having
this explained simply and concisely with an example of the ./config
statement in the INSTALL doc would have been very helpful avoiding me
wasting a day and in search engine hell, but I finally got it to work
with the following article.

I wasn't looking for support, I was looking for instructions for how
to install imp.
With the full realization that imp 3.x is a different beast then 4.
Version 3 works fine on my system. That being said, I downloaded and
successfully compiled c-client. The documentation tells me that I need
to install and run imapd pop2d pop3d daemons. However, I have the same
services running from cyrus imap. Do I have to invoke them together?
How do I that and not run into a conflict? Or is my thinking
incorrect? What exactly do I need to install and how?
I hope that you can help.

on Fedora Core 2 with Cyrus IMAP and mysql 4.1.7. The installation
seems to have gone fine, however, IMP only seems to display header
information when I try to view an email. Both html and plain are
configured to be viewed inline in mime_drivers.php.
