server if you want that. And HEAD already has a thread view feature
that, while not yet like gmail's conversations, is a start on it.
Improvements to that are welcome.

It would be so nice if IMP users could have the option of having
messages displayed in a "conversations" format similar to gmail.
Maybe the easiest way to do this would be to store messages in a
database (mysql?) - the data could then also be easily indexed for
more powerful search functions... (also much more efficient than a
flat file for those who keep large numbers of messages in mailboxes (I
have over 10,000 in one box!)
