I tend to agree. I also use the edit/delete icons in the month view constantly, so I don't personally understand their being considered extraneous.

The ability to disable the display of delete/edit/alarm/recurring icons is great. But can we please have them paired and split into two separate options? The delete/edit as one, and the others as one. I'd say the overview will be missing some useful information when the alarm/recurring icons disappear; the edit/delete links provide no information useful in an overview. My 0.183 cents.
