If you say so; I beg to differ. Since I can't see the contents of a folder, nor get a feel for the number of messages or when the last message was written in a folder (from the folder manager), I have to switch between the folder manager and the mailbox view for each folder. That was my concern.

No, this makes no sense. Folder operations are no common tasks that you want to do in parallel with anything else. And you already have the left menu (and the drop down list FWIW) to navigate through the folders while you have a different view displayed.

It'd be nice to have an option to get the folder manager as a popup instead of as an "integrated" function so to speak.
