In the sidebar folder display tree; if I, however, refresh just that
frame, the folder is once again displayed as "_Domäner". If I,
however, click on it.. Horde (IMP) displays the weird encoding (where
it displays the folder name after selecting a folder) when doing the
mailbox view. It then says there are no messages in the folder (which
I suppose is logical if it can't access the real IMAP directory ;) )

The folder is encoded correctly on the filesystem, this is UTF7-IMAP
encoding. Where exactly do you get the wrong folder name displayed?

Using the latest (today's) HEAD of Horde, IMP, Framework, etc. I am
still experiencing problems with folder monitoring, folder selection,
and folder display in IMP when it comes to folder names containing
national characters.

The folder "_Domäner" is stored as "_Dom&AOQ-ner" in the local file
system, and when I click on it in IMP, I get a message saying there're
no messages in the folder (" _Dom%26AOQ-ner"). Notice the difference
in characters used to display the folder name.

I thought this might be a version gap between a Courier-IMAP version
and when I created the folders. But I created a new folder containing
national characters today, and the same problem is there.

What did I or Horde/IMP do wrong?
