renaming etc. lets the Enter, Del and Navigation keys propagate to the
lower layer.
For instance pressing Enter (which should activate the OK button in
the upper layer) causes the folder listing to attempt to open a message.
Same with navigation keys.
It's bad when you want to the a rename and want to hit 'Del' to delete
a character and end up deleting a message.
