Guessing you're using IMP, and you have it misconfigured so that for
user B it puts everything in user B's home directory into the sidebar
as a mail folder?
Gotcha. Some user's Spam folder in tons of folders.

My bad. Thanks for the quick reply. Please close.

When I log in with account A everything runs smooth.

When I log in with account B the sidebar takes more than a minute to
download, slowing down the login process. At the same time my browser
needs an extra 100MB Memory. When I log out, all is well again.

Looking at the http logs. The sidebar for A is around 5kB. The sidebar
for B is over 200kB.
