And this is all expected behavior. Multiple message view is meant to quickly display the text contents of the selected messages - not the full rendered view.

one more thing is the images are also not displayed properly in multiple message view

i have changed $mime_drivers['imp']['html']['inline'] to "true" and $mime_drivers['imp']['html']['external'] to "false" for the proper display of html messages. its working fine when i view html messages singly but when i select more than one html messages in mailbox and click view messages then the html messages are not getting displayed properly. please check out the attachment for proper explanation
