I thought about that too, but this algorithm isn't 100% reliable of course, and I really don't want to mess with the user's message content after he sent it and has any chance to correct any errors.

What about adding also the signature during sending? No, people must have a chance to edit, remove, etc. their signature. What about a method that detect the presence of a signature (the same method used to grey it when viewing it) and put the link attachment before?

This is not reliably possible, since the signature is added by the user during the composition, the attachments are added during the sending. What about adding also the signature during sending?

When one is using a signature and sends attachments as links, the link to the attachments should be before the signature. E.g.: ----- Allegati (I link scadranno il 01/10/2007) https://example.net/horde/imp/attachment.php?u=abcdef&t=1275264556&f=happy.png -- Mr. Abc Def My company and not: -- Mr. Abc Def My company ----- Allegati (I link scadranno il 01/10/2007) https://example.net/horde/imp/attachment.php?u=abcdef&t=1275264556&f=happy.png As it is now, under the signature, the link is not much visible to the user, and, worse, the text is in grey and even more hidden.
