If I use the HTML GUI in compose.php the html editor always takes the focus and I have to click the 'To:' or 'Subject:' input fields. This is something annoying because usually you complete the 'To:' or 'Subject:' fields before. I'm not an expert in Javascript and I have tried to modify htmlarea.js but without success.
