What authentication method are you using (IMP, Horde, automatic
horde-auth, ...)?

I'm running a maintenance script to create default folders at
the first login as stated in
(http://wiki.horde.org/ImpAutomaticDefaultFolderCreation).

The maintenance runs sucessfully when the user clicks the IMP
menu in the sidebar. But if the user simply expands the sidebar and
clicks in one of the folders in his Inbox or the Inbox itself, the
maintenance is skipped.
