Beside that, we have already implemented this in Kronolith 1.2. ;-)
Fantastic! Thanks guys... I know it's not "ideal" but then again, most 
users never are! ;-)

I am _very_ against reimplementing access control, which is what this 
amounts to. We already provide a way for users to have different kinds 
of events. If that way isn't easy enough, we can change how it works - 
i.e., improve the shared calendars ui.

I have users who use one calendar and share it with multiple people 
and groups. Occassionally, they schedule personal events that they may 
not wish to share... such as doctors appointments or golf outings, etc.



I have encouraged them to have different calendars for this purpose or 
to not enter personal information, their preference is to be able to 
mark events as "Private" or "Personal" and have them hidden from view 
except to themselves.
