This fails if the 1st message selected has been scrolled off the screen.



eg.



I select message number 1 then use the scrollbar to get to message 15, 
hold shift and click - rather than selecting the block between 1 and 
15, just 15 is selected.



If this is done in smaller chunks so that there is at least one 
selected message still displaying then it works.



eg, select 1 to 10, scroll down a bit until 10 is showing at the top, 
highlighted, and then shift-click on 15 - this works and 1 to 15 are 
selected.
