Most likely either, e.g.:

In either case, these are support issues, not bugs.

I have similar problem, since I update IMP to 4.1.1 I can't logon.

Apache runs on 100% for some time. Then system stop on mape
imp/redirect.php. I not sure, but may I have some time out for PHP
page generation, so Apache don't hang up for forever.

apache2, PHP 4, Mysql, Debian.

When trying to login over IMAP to some accounts, IMP hangs. the result
is an apache2 process using 100% of an cpu, and stays like that until
killed. The longest period i waited for it to finish is 40 minutes,
and it didn't finish so i killed it.

i'm using mysql as a backend for prefs, datatree, sessions; i have
apache 2.0.55, mysql 4.1.19, php 5.1.4, gentoo dist. the gentoo
packages i tried to install first had the same problem plus some
others, so i tried setting up from vanilla sources from horde.org.

The problem didn't occur when i tried to login to an account with
empty mailbox. It logged in as supposed to.
