It seems to happen consistently when Hide Deleted is also visible (and the same thing happens to the hide deleted link). I've _maybe_ seen it once when using thread sorting (thus, no hide_deleted link).

Yep, sorry - it's the Purge Deleted link on the mailbox page. It does not do it every single time, I'll continue to play with it to figure out when exactly it is happening. Thanks.

Do you mean the "Purge Deleted" link on the mailbox page? I am using Firefox 1.5 on both Windows and Linux and have not seen this.

When clicking on the Purge All link, the link is repositioned under the Hide Deleted link. You then have to click on the repositioned link to purge the messages. This happens on FireFox (1.5) but not on IE.
