Works for me now - thanks.

Better, but now any containers I have that are two levels deep -and-
expanded get added to the tree once for every subfolder. For example
I have a test/utf container that has several folders with UTF-8
foldernames for testing. If I expand that folder, then log out and
back in, my folder tree will contain test/utf (and all its children)
once for every subfolder (which happens to be 5 of them).
This?

yes this fixes it here without any side-effects (I do not have any
folders with UTF-8 names)

This doesn't show in the menu folder dropdown, and it doesn't seem to
show in the sidebar either - only on the Folders screen.

Nevertheless I've been seeing it also. If I rebuild the tree
folders.php and the sidebar show all my folders again for a while, but
it seems to expire, or otherwise go away, after a bit - login/logout
cycle not needed.

The dropdown list of folders is correct throughout.

This makes little sense, especially since the drop-down folders are
now generated from the same data source as the folder tree.

yes (i have never recognized this option) - but it does not last over
logout/login again.

If you go to the Folders screen and choose the Rebuild Folder Tree
action, do they show up?

I just refreshed my installation from CVS and now in imp/folders.php
and in the sidebar only INBOX and Virtual INBOX appear - no other
folder.

This worked very well with CVS up to at least 29. April .

The many other folders are only accessible via the drop-down menus in IMP.

Cyrus 2.3.3 with unixhierarchysep: yes ( Delimiter = / ), latest Horde
from CVS,

Apache 1.3.35, PHP 4.4.2
