Fixed, but with one proviso...



On selecting a folder, if that folder has only a small number of mails 
(fewer than 9 in my case), the preview pane appears higher up the 
screen than it would normally do - eg directly under the "no messages 
to display" text if the folder is empty.



Switching the preview off then on again puts the pane where it should be.

Can you let me know if this still happens for you? I believe it's 
fixed with the new code that remembers the state of the preview pane.

When preview is switched off and back on again the preview pane gets 
shifted to the bottom of the screen. Changing folders brings it back 
to the correct position.
