(d)IMP is sending fine - it's not stripping the trailing space after
the dashes, so it does seem to be a problem with the reader I'm using
(Thunderbird). Forcing DelSp=No on IMP gets Thunderbird to display the
footer correctly (but probably breaks tons of other stuff !) .
Feel free to mark as Bogus :)
messages display fine within IMP but not Thunderbird.
