Does this patch play along with kontact though? I reverted the patch
on my system because kontact was starting to create duplicated folder
which messed things up. Or am I missing something in the kontact
settings?

Hi,

when you use horde on a kolab instance which is accessed by outlook
clients as well, then you need i18n'ed folder names, otherwise default
folders created by horde won't be visible in outlook.

The attached patch uses _() to translate the default folder names.

Ciao,

Tobias
